FINEGREEN – Energy Simulation
FINEGREEN provides advanced modelling capabilities in an easy-to-use BIM interface, combining the Autocad® functionality with the DWG & IFC full compatibility. The program uses as its simulation engine EnergyPlus (the U.S. DOE building energy simulation program) to ensure powerful simulation capabilities and calculation accuracy. FINEGREEN’s friendly BIM interface in synergy with its Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) engine, allowing the easy determination of the best energy-efficient building design solutions from initial concept through project completion.
FINEGREEN is the only BIM Software for Building Services Design using DWG as its native file format. BIM objects can be converted upon request into simple vectors and lines that can be further edited in CAD Software. FINEGREEN includes also all the CAD features of 4MCAD, our smart alternative to AutoCAD.
BIM objects are intelligent and parametric. The entire building is composed by structural intelligent entities (walls, openings, slabs, roofs, spaces, etc), as well as intelligent installation networks (piping hydraulic networks, cable networks, gas installations etc). They interact with the simulation engine to generate calculation results and detailed drawings.
